But the dream of The Spotted Lilac has been in the makings for several decades.
The Spotted Lilac LLC is an organization was developed to lay the groundwork to create a place where all are welcome, creativity is encouraged, and the opportunity to learn and expand skillsets in a number of creative avenues is available to everyone.

Art has always been part of my life.
As I have navigated my way through life from childhood to adulthood, the types of art that I have dabbled in has morphed, adapted, grown, and developed as I have transitioned through different phases of my life.
The journey has left an inextinguishable desire to have art be an ever present part of my daily life. Creativity is a treasured piece of my soul.
In all medias, art and the creative outlet associated with art has always brought my soul immense joy, peace, excitement and an indescribable feeling of belonging. It has provided a way to communicate and provide expression without the need to use words. Art has it’s own language, one that is open to interpretation by every individual that is not limited by any boundaries.
